This listing is for a silver plated phurba chopper pendant handmade in Nepal. It measures approximately 1 inch. The Ritual Phurba Chopper is used in Buddhist ceremonies to "cut off" evil or obstructive forces and spirits. The handle is made of a half-vajra/dorje (Thonderbolt) and the bottom of the pendant is a makara (water monster) from which the open fanged mouth (the curving blade) emerges. Many fierce Dharma protectors in the Tibetan Buddhist pantheon hold such weapon as expressions of their power to overcome enemies.
Due to handmade nature of the item, each item may differ slightly.
