Linnea Tee (lace version) Kit

This is a delicate top, which is knitted in our Framlingham heavy lace yarn. It can also be knitted in 4 ply - see separate listing. The body of the tee is knit from the bottom up, on circular needles and then back and forth once divided for the armholes. The sleeves are ¾ length and are knitted in the round until shaping for the top of the arm. The finished top is given in 3 sizes, the picture shows the middle size, which is approx. UK 12-14 and is knitted in Native Yarns Framlingham BFL.

I’ve designed this top to be worn as a loose floaty garment; it’s easy and flattering to wear with skirts, over dresses or jeans and is designed to skim the top of the hips

The multi-size pattern is written in 3 sizes:
Size Bust Length of Tee
Small 87 cm / 34 ins 47.5 cm / 18.5 ins
Medium 102 cm / 40 ins 50 cm / 19.5 ins
Large 117 cm / 46 ins 52.5 cm / 20.5 ins

The kit contains
2 X 100g of Native Yarns Framlingham Blue Faced Leicester and Silk yarn 1 x multi -sized pattern.

Colours shown are left to right:
Pic 2
Brigantia - Rich bronzy red
Boudicea - deep indigo blue
Arwen - pale indigo blue

All our yarns are dyed with natural dyes; that's largely plant dyes with a little bit of beetle for the pinks & purples. They're dyed by hand in our Suffolk workshop and the processes I use are as eco friendly as I can get them. I use rainwater captured from our roof, and low energy input methods of dyeing. The only mordant I use is alum and cream of tarter and I'm building up my dye garden so more and more I'll be using my own dye plants. The colours are rich and warm and the yarns are pure luxury in a skein! We hope you love them as much as we do.

Our blues, purples & greens are dyed using indigo. As with all indigo dyed yarn, you will find that some blue comes off on your fingers & needles when you use the yarn. It doesn't come off when you wear it,, but please void rubbing the yarn on light coloured sofa cushions as some colour may transfer.
