NB: This listing is for three knitting patterns, not the finished scarves.
The patterns will be emailed directly to you in pdf format (or as word files if you prefer) when payment is received, via your email address listed on your Etsy account. Should you wish me to send the files to a different email address, please let me know in the Notes to Seller at checkout.
The three patterns are suitable for beginners, and are usefully different in style. You can see more images and details of them at
With these patterns you can make a good range of cosy winter scarves, with interesting textures, which would look good on a man or a woman. The patterns include suggestions for yarn and give details of scarf sizes. All three patterns can be adapted to any width and length to suit your own preferences.
You are welcome to use these patterns for scarves for sale in your etsy shop; I'd appreciate it if you would add a credit:

Shipping & policies
Artwork: Your painting/drawing will be shipped on the day that payment clears (or the next working day) and will be carefully wrapped, using foamboard, cardboard or bubblewrap, plus a padded or cardboard envelope (or normal stationery envelope for ACEOs). Large paintings will be sent rolled in a strong tube. (The tubes I use are quite heavy, so, unfortunately, postage costs for those paintings are fairly high. Also, generally only one picture will fit a tube, so there is no reduction for 'with another item' postage for these paintings - sorry about that. If it is possible to send items together in a tube I will refund any extra postage that you've paid.)
Scarves: Knitted items will be wrapped in tissue, and packed in a polybag for waterproofness and a padded envelope.
For international shipping I will use International Airmail for small items (with proof of posting) or Airsure for larger ones (with tracking to the destination). For postage inside the UK I will use first class 'signed for' or Special Delivery.
There are no customs duties on fine art for buyers in the EU and USA. For elsewhere in the world, you may need to check on your country's custom duties, as the buyer is liable for any customs duties and import taxes.
Outer packing may be recycled but is clean (used previously for manuscripts or books only). Also, my workroom is smoke-, pet- and perfume-free.
I accept direct checkout, as well as Paypal or credit card through Paypal (you don't have to have an account with Paypal, just click the Paypal button when you go through the checkout and look for the link to pay with your credit card).
Returns & exchanges
I want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are unhappy with it for any reason please contact me.
Returns must be shipped back to me within 7 days of receipt, in undamaged condition, and in secure and unbendable packing material, by priority mail with insurance, tracking and signature on delivery. When I receive the item in its original condition, I will provide a refund for the price of the item. Shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility.
For larger paintings sent to destinations outside the UK, please be aware of the high cost of returning such items with tracking and insurance.
If an order is lost in transit or does not arrive within 60 days of shipping, I will issue a refund. If you receive a damaged item, please send me a photo or photos of the damaged item and I will issue a refund.
I use only good quality materials for my paintings: professional-grade oil or acrylic colours (Old Holland, Sennelier, Winsor & Newton artists' colours); decent quality canvases, or watercolour or acrylic paper; gesso panels from Belle Arti, Italy. The indian ink I use is totally fadeproof; the grey ink is stated to be fadeproof but it is always advisable to keep artwork out of direct sunlight.
All of my artwork is unframed - the standard and deep canvases can be displayed on a wall simply by banging in two nails and just hooking the canvas over them. Smaller paintings look great on a desk or shelf - plastic-coated plate stands are an unobtrusive 'easel'.
I've tried to reproduce the paintings accurately in my photos, but please bear in mind that colours and tone may vary depending on the calibration of your computer screen. Also, different web browsers may display colours differently.
Photographing my scarves has presented similar problems of lighting. I've tried very carefully to show accurately how the scarf looks.
The buyer purchases only the original artwork. I retain all rights including the rights to reproduction.
