I’m sure when you think of an anchor you automatically think of a ship and the anchor that holds it in place. For me though an anchor is something or someone that provides strength and support. Whether you love the high seas or see the anchor image as a representation of strength and support this pillow is for you. Use it on your boat, in a beach themed room, or even in a nautical nursery.
• Yarn: Worsted Weight in three colors.
I used Caron Simply Soft in the following:
• White (4.4 oz)
• Dark Country blue (8 oz)
• Red (4oz)
• Grey (1 oz)
• Hook: G/4.0 MM or hook needed to obtain gauge. Going up in hook size will create a larger pillow and will require a bigger insert.
• Tape measure
• Needle for sewing
• Stitch markers
• 4 1.5” buttons
• One 14”x 14” pillow insert
• These measurements are approximated, and actual subjects may vary.
• Gauge: 7 single crochet x 10 rows = 2”x 2”
• Finished size: 15” x 15”
• Ch: Chain
• SL ST: Slip Stitch
• Sk: skip
• Sc: single crochet
• RS: right side
I have rated this as an intermediate pattern based on the following basic stitch knowledge, how to change colors, and reading a graph.
