Item details

One beautifully embossed & die cut image of a Victorian-era grouping of red roses. The piece measures approximately 6.50" H x 4" W (16.51 cm x 10.16 cm) & is printed on card stock-like thickness.

These large single images look beautiful in and on many larger projects:

- bulletin boards, posters and signs
- main image on a scrapbook page or album
- adhered to folded card stock for a beautiful, easy card or invitation
- decoupaged on flat to slightly curved surfaces
- attached to wrapped packages
- attached to card stock with a simple card board easel for table decorations
- mounted on nice background paper and framed - use as vintage decor

Bonnie directly imports these old world images from the only company left in Germany solely producing die cut or "scrap relief " images. Much of the tools and processes are still done by hand to create these vintage reproductions.

HISTORY OF EMBOSSED DIE CUTS: Also known as "scraps", these gorgeous Victorian age die-cut paper images began in the mid 1800's with the invention of chromolithography which allowed mass production of quality colored images to be printed. Most of the production took place in Berlin, Germany but spread to other cities and countries by 1900.
