Item details

'Lime Green Salad' produces stunning olive green fruit with a bright, lime green interior. This is an exceptionally small plant that has rugose (crinkled) leaves. It is an attractive food plant -- I often give it a place of prominence in the garden. The fruit is meaty with a tangy taste.

This is also an excellent container variety. I have had success in pots as small as 10" deep. If you have the space to spare, I suggest choosing a larger pot for a greater yield.

Please note that I have a VERY LIMITED quantity of this variety.

Special Notes:

Dwarf variety is great for small spaces and container growing. Green saladette-sized fruit. Open-pollinated. 85 days.

No less than 10 seed per packet. [Please note that the number of seeds per package varies with each variety and is dependant on stock. Some varieties produce less seed than others so I adjust accordingly.]

Grown and harvested in the 2016 gardening season.

----------------------------------------

Growing:

Start seed indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Transplant outdoors after danger of frost has passed.

About My Seeds:

All of the seeds that I sell were lovingly homegrown and harvested by me, small scale, in my urban garden using organic methods only -- no chemicals or pesticides whatsoever. Tomato varieties are isolated to stay true using the flower bagging method and I test for germination quality. I take special care in choosing varieties that I find unusual, interesting and fabulous, and/or especially suitable for growing in small space gardens.
