"Anna Neuper's Modelbuch" is a transcription with background information of a small, leather-covered book of brocaded tabletwoven bands from 1517. It was written by Anna Neuper, a seventy-year-old nun in the St. Clare Convent in Nurnberg, Germany. It contains 45 different patterns with variations and is among the earliest pattern books known for any textile technique.
