Deliciously soft and sassy, this yarn in a grey wool of unknown breed with black loops would knit nicely into a small project such as a scarf or could edgily edge another project (yup, I said it.) Or you could just screw doing anything with it and put it around your neck (obviously my preferred method for this yarn!)
Weight: 3.1 oz (88g) Length: ~34 yds (~33 m) WPI: 8-10 (Worsted-Aran weight) I recommend knitting with US size 7-9 needles (4.5-5.5 mm metric) or crocheting with US size I-9 to K-10.5 hooks (5.5-6.5 mm metric). Materials: A wool singles with alpaca cocoons, all plied with black cotton crochet thread. Suggested projects: small hat, scarf, accent yarn in larger piece, wristwarmers
Spun in a dog-friendly home, so an occasional hair may make it in (no cats, though.)
Happy shopping, and thank you for supporting a maker of handmade goodies!
Shipping: I will ship by postal service unless otherwise requested. I gladly ship to APO/FPO addresses. I will use delivery confirmation for all US orders. International orders can only be shipped by postal service. I will ship within 1-3 shipping days of purchase (if you purchase an item on Thursday, it should be out no later than Monday, since the post office takes Sunday off). If there is any deviation from that, I will let you know as soon as possible.
I take PayPal, credit card and Etsy gift cards. If I have gotten an order but have not received payment, I will contact the buyer as soon as possible. If I have not received a reply by the second contact, I will cancel the order. I will be sure to keep in contact throughout the process in case of any glitches or questions.
Returns & exchanges
If my work is unsatisfactory to you in some way, I would like to remedy the situation in any way I can. I will discuss refunds on a case-by-case basis. Please contact me if you have any problems with your product, especially if it breaks. I might be able to guide you in fixing it, or you can send it back to me to fix. If I am unable to solve the problem, we will discuss refunds at that time.
I welcome special orders, and will do my best to help give you as many or as few choices as you'd like. Here are some things to think about when you request a special order: -What is your price range? -Do you want yarn or a necklace? -If you want a necklace, would you like a scarf necklace or a clasp necklace? -If you want yarn, how much yardage would you like? (What is the end purpose for the yarn?) -What thickness and ply (number of strands in the yarn)? -How would you like it spun? (Wiggly spirals, corespun, with knots? Cocoons?) -Do you have a picture for inspiration? Or perhaps another yarn? -What materials do you want? (What characteristics do you want the yarn to have?) -Any funky stuff?
Don't be afraid to push my limits; I love trying new things and solving problems, so never fear asking the improbable!
