This rare plant is nearly extinct in its home range. If you'd like to read more about it, please read this article from The Guardian. (You will need to copy and paste it.) http://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/gardening-blog/2015/jul/30/petunia-exserta-a-flower-on-the-brink-of-extinction
Due to their rarity I'm not offering many so that I can grow more myself next year. This was a gem in the garden this year and even those who dislike bedding petunias remarked on its attractiveness. The color is the most unusual shade of red and hummingbirds love it.
If you'd like to grow the plants and keep the seeds for yourself, please be sure not to grow your plants near other bedding petunias of any kind. (I restricted mine to the back yard this past year but am likely to move them out to the front yard next year.)
Germination instructions are included with your seeds. These are easy to grow. (about 40 seeds)
