20 upcycled-into-envelopes book pages from different (mostly children's picture) books featuring cats large and small, cuddly and, well, kind of creepy. Letter size (long) 9 1/2 x 4 inches. Peel away adhesive strip to seal.
***** NEW: Free gift wrapping! See photo: wrapped in recycled paper bags or white tissue paper and tied with colorful cotton twine. Optional To/From tag with handwritten message on the back (put info in "note to seller" at checkout.)
The last photo shows some ways to address pagelopes: (1) writing directly on them when possible, (2) using peel-and-stick labels or (3) lightly glue sticking cut rectangles of tracing paper.
Pagelopes are made from yard sale freebies or discarded library books unable to be resold/donated due to missing pages or other damage. Slight wrinkling is acceptable in a cute page, adding character :) Surprise somebody special with a handwritten letter in the mail -- inside a unique envelope!
Created in my smoke free, low-allergen-cat friendly home.
Super recyclers: Often the inside is as cute as the outside. When your pen pal sends you a letter in a pagelope, try slowly peeling back the top and sides, then fold it backwards, glue, and send it back to her! The top flap on a pagelope is usually long enough to cut off the used edge, and thick book pages are easier than regular envelopes to peel apart.
