Item details

Right handed oak leaf leather matching holster and belt. This is hand carved and hand tooled. Holster is a traditional skirt styled holster of frontier days. Oak leaf belt is a wide belt that can be worn tight on waist or loose diagonally across hip. Holster can be removed and worn on a pants belt. Holster was wet formed to a Colt single action army or similar size revolver with 4 5/8"-6 1/2" barrel. Some small framed 22 caliber single action revolvers could also fit. Holster is firm fit and not a quick draw fit holster. Retainer lace is provided to attach to hammer and leather thong provided to tie down to leg. Belt does not have bullet loops. Lining is not provided on holster or belt. Flesh side of leather is stained and finished.

Belt size is 4" wide down to 1 7/16" wide at the buckle tongue. Length is 41 1/2" to center of eight belt adjustment holes. Adjustment of overall belt is 38 3/4" to 43 3/4" maximum. Actual waist size is different than pants or belt size. Your actual waist size needs to be verified over pants loops and pants belt. If holster belt is to be worn loose and somewhat diagonally - measure this length. Belt is wide and will not fit fully to hip if too diagonal.

Leather is stained and finished with clear acrylic finish. Leather is stiff and will require continued use for revolver to fit comfortably. It is not recommended though to store revolver in holster because damage can happen to bluing.

This is a handmade product made from manufactured precut, sized and high quality leather. Carving, finishing, and assembly is provided by me. Hand carved, tooled, laced and hand finished.
