Vintage Valentine's Day card paper ephemera from the twenties features an illustration of a blushing girl and boy exchanging a red heart and a kiss. The little girl is blonde and wearing a red and white Valentine's day dress and the little boy has brown hair and is wearing a blue and white sailor suit. The boy is holding a toy sheep on a leash. They are standing next to some white daisies. The front of the card reads, "To My Love." This vintage Valentine was printed in Germany. The card has a tab which sticks out like a tripod so that the card can stand up. On the back, the card is inscribed in cursive writing with, "To Ora, From Steward, 1929." The card does have a significant tear across the boy. It is 3" x 1.5".
It is a lovely card for paper ephemera collectors. It would also be great for Valentine's Day scrap booking or crafts. Collectors of Valentines are sure to delight in this card's sweet innocence and beautiful, colorful illustration.
