10 lengths of yarns, all approx 2m (80") long, hand dyed to a rich brown with carefully prepared natural sumac leaf dyes
A mix of wools, viscose and cotton. Some are pure and some are blends. The wonderful thing about a mix like this is that the different materials pick up the dye differently, giving a variety of shades as well as textures.
Ideal for embroidery, small scale weaving or mixed media art work.
Though mordanted and well rinsed, I cannot guarantee colour-fastness nor light-fastness, this being the nature of natural dyestuffs. Do not soak, keep away from prolonged bright sun.
