Post-Impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh's Almond Blossoms (1890). Van Gogh loved flowering trees, and painted many of them. This piece reflects van Gogh's interest in Japanese woodblock prints, which he had a large collection of. The influence is clear through the flat patterns of colours and no shadows. The oil on canvas painting is owned by the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
