A Nancy Claytor Designs Graphing System…a Graph-It Plastic Canvas Set of Film Sheets and Instructions. Copyright 1991. Made in the USA.
Nancy Claytor has, unfortunately, passed away. I have gotten the last of her clever system for making a plastic canvas stitch graph from original art, wallpaper, photographs, etc. This system is a step above using square grids (like for cross stitch) because it is based on ellipses. Plus, if the design is too large for one grid this system was designed so that two sheets could be taped together, joined with tape and lined up.
This plastic canvas graph set of sheets has instructions on the back of the package on how to use the Graph-It system and 1 sheet of each size of the film sheets...7, 10, 12 and 14 to the inch graph sizes. That's a total of 4 film sheets, These graphs relate only to the size and detail of the design being graphed and not to mesh count.
Basically, you lay the transparent graph sheet over the original picture and color in the squares with colored pencil. Fine, quality colored pencils are recommended and there is a sections in the booklet on the best erasers so that the sheets may be re-used. At the bottom of each sheet is a section for you to make your own color legend...matching the colored pencil to a chosen thread or yarn.
All copyrights and patents are the property of the Nancy Claytor Estate.
These sheets are a bit heavy. A Priority Flat Rate Envelope seems the cheapest way to go.
All instructions and sheets are sold…AS IS. Although I maintain a smoke-free and a pet-free studio, I have no control over where items have been previously. I attempt to represent my goods as honestly as possible, but sometimes something will get by. If you have any doubts about an item, E-MAIL ME! I want to make sure that you will be pleased with your purchase. I will make a refund as merchandise credit; buyer pays for return shipments.
