In homage to the very adorable French Bulldog breed, I couldn't resist turning them into something stampable! A lovely finishing touch for a dog lover's birthday card or an unusual gift for any bulldog fan. There's loads of characteristic detail delicately designed into these stamps.
The stamped image measure approx. 2.8cm x 3.4cm (or 1 1/8” x 1 5/16”).
***INFO: Everything in the Skull and Cross Buns artisan grey rubber stamp range starts out as one of my hand drawn designs which is then beautifully reproduced out of high quality grey rubber, pressed using traditional methods within the UK. I then trim them by hand and cushion mount them onto tactile wooden blocks, also UK sourced.
***DELIVERY: Please refer to the Shop announcement on my shop home page for current turnaround time on orders and shipping timescales http://www.etsy.com/shop/skullandcrossbuns ... thank you! Remember to allow for time to make your stamp(s) and then time to ship from the UK on top.
***STAMP CARE: After use, simply dab clean (not rub) with non-solvent stamping cleaning products, alcohol-free baby wipes or liquid soap and water and then pat dry. Store the stamp cleaned with the rubber facing up.
All designs are © Skull and Cross Buns

Shipping & policies
Please note that you (the customer) will be liable for any customs fees, taxes, tariffs, duties, etc. that may be incurred at the time of delivery in accordance with your country's tax/import regulations. Returns will not be accepted due to you having to pay customs fees. The value declared on your package will be what you paid for the item (minus shipping charge).
Please allow up to 3 working days approx for your stamps to be created and then allow for shipping time FROM THE UNITED KINGDOM on top.
Shipping time can really vary depending on your location:
UK typically takes 2-3 working days approx
Europe up to 21 days
US and Canada up to 21 days
Rest of World up to 28 days.
These are VERY ROUGH estimates but it's usually quicker if you live nearer to a major city. I cannot make ANY guarantees on how long it will take to arrive, please bear this in mind during busy periods like Christmas.
The UK postal service say to allow a maximum of 21 days for delivery in the UK and 28 days for delivery outside of the UK so I CANNOT replace or refund a lost parcel until this timescale has passed to allow the package a REASONABLE TIME to arrive first. The 21 or 28 days will start on the day the item was shipped as per the email confirmation you receive via Etsy when I post it.
Any deadlines which I give, such as for Christmas deliveries, are a GUIDELINE ONLY and based on the postal service in the UK and what they quote are the last postal dates which never takes into account bad weather, postal strikes etc.
If you want a package to be trackable, there will be an additional charge. Please contact me before purchase for a postage quote and for me to set a listing up accordingly.
I am currently just accepting payment via Paypal and Direct Checkout. Payment is required upon purchase.
PLEASE NOTE: Any discount codes are provided at my discretion and can be withdrawn at any time. I can't backdate any discount promoted onto a previous order placed prior to the code being announced even if it hasn't been shipped yet. Discount codes are not eligible for use against custom stamp orders.
If you are purchasing within the EU I'm not currently VAT registered so VAT cannot be claimed back against purchases from my Etsy shop.

I’ve worked in mail order customer service for the past 14 years so I apologise that my policies might seem very thorough but I know all of the common problems and queries so I’m trying to pre-empt any which might arise in this section! And most importantly I want you to be delighted with your Skull and Cross Buns purchase so you’ll keep coming back!
ALL SALES ARE COVERED UNDER UNITED KINGDOM LAW
Here is some additional information about my stamps; if you want to ask me about anything else which I haven't mentioned please contact me and I'll get back to you as quickly as I can. Or if you are interested in a custom order or want one of my existing stamps but in a slightly different size, for example, again get in touch!
The stamp you receive may vary very slightly from the picture shown in the listing, such is the nature of it being hand carved and/or finished by hand! I always work from the same master copy, though.
Please also note the stamp you receive may have some ink residue; this is from the testing the image quality whilst carving but I will clean them thoroughly as I can anyway. Some ink pads can stain the rubber I use but as long as the stamp is nice and clean any staining will not affect your stamping.
A couple of hints and tips, the rubber I use produces the best results with pigment and water based inks but dye based inks tend to 'bead' up on the rubber and produce a poor image. It is also advised to avoid solvent based inks such as Stazon as they can potentially perish the rubber.
The stamps are easy to clean the same way as you do other stamps, with baby wipes, liquid soap and water or specialist stamp cleaning fluids. Stamp cleaning mats are great for getting into the fine details, I can't recommend them enough!
IMPORTANT: ANGEL POLICY
I adopt an 'angel' policy on my stamps, please feel free to use them to hand stamp on your craftwork which is produced to be sold IN SMALL PRODUCTION RUNS and I would love to see what you do with them! All I ask is that the images are not reproduced or copied in any form by any means, graphic, electronic, or mechanical, including photocopying, scanning, making moulds of the rubber stamps to turn into polymer/silver clay charms etc. Any stamp designed by Skull and Cross Buns may not then form a part of the buyer's logo, banner, branding etc without expressed written permission as this will be classed as reproduction as per the Angel Policy.
If you are unsure if your intended use of my stamps may potentially contravene the Angel Policy, please drop me a message and I'll be happy to discuss.
I keep getting asked but I DON'T CLASS MY STAMPS AS FOOD SAFE. Due to the carving technique there can be rough bits in the grooves due to the tools I use so parts could potentially come loose if being used other than a stamp on paper.
