Living in Northern Ohio, it gets cold during winter. Sometimes, it gets downright frigid! Necessity is the momma of all inventions, and while I did not invent the wheel here, I did design a crochet pattern that fit my busy hands comfortably! I needed a wrist warmer that moved with my hands, whether I was crocheting, spinning yarn, sewing, or doing intricate jewelry making. I also had to be able to work on the computer without them interfering too. I didn't want all the frills that can snag, or ruffles that could get caught on my other projects. Give me simple functionality in a pleasing design!
PDF file contains step-by-step instructions for crocheting these hand warmers / wristlets / fingerless gloves, with a favorite chunky yarn. They work up reasonably quick, and look so charming with some button embellishments.
Pattern is written for stationary closed cuff as well as functional button cuff. I used size 5 and 6 yarns from a few different vendors. Even though I designed this pattern 3 years ago, I have updated with some current yarns on the market to make sure the counts all worked properly.
Make a pair for yourself, your bestie, you mom & grandma & favorite aunt!
