•This listing for a knitting pattern. Not a pair of custom hand knit socks. The hand knit item is also available in the shop.•
The first new design of 2016 is out and its perfect for the wintry weather. Say hello to the Maya Socks! With their squishy texture and seamless construction they are perfect to keep your toes toasty.
Maya, the Mapuche word meaning river, fits these socks perfectly. Stitches flow twisting and turning like a river’s current. The stitch pattern creates a cozy texture that's not lost if knit a multi-colored or speckled yarn. These socks feature a more rounded toe box, afterthought heel, and a patterned cuff. The toe-up pattern can also easily be adapted to be knit cuff-down if that's your preference.
