These little stretch nylon bags are ready-made for holding the rice hull filling when making temari balls. No cutting or sewing required, just fold the top over and start wrapping ! They make a nice little ball when they are filled. Much cheaper than buying knee-high stockings.
They are also useful for protecting a finished temari ball for shipping or storage.
These are the perfect size for 1/4 cup to 3/4 cup of filling. I generally use 1/3 cup for a 3-inch-diameter ball or a half a cup for a 4-inch-diameter ball.
The light-weight fabric will show the lines from where they have been gathered and some may develop a run or two as you open and fill them. These do not diminish their usefulness.
Rice hulls and measuring cup are not included.
Rice hulls are available from brewing supply stores, or see my listing for a filled bag.
