I've seen this sock--or others like it--floating around on the internet. A friend of mine asked me to make her a pair of slipper knee socks, so I wrote this version. I call it Hippie Longstockings! HaHa LOL!
This pattern is really very user friendly. I designed it so it is easy to customize the length, circumferences, and height of the sock. You can add to or subtract rounds from the calf length or top ribbing to make the sock taller or shorter. If you calves are well-developed, it is simple to add stitches to rounds noted on the pattern. You get the idea!
Once you're familiar with the basic sock pattern, you can decorate them so many different ways! However, I've attached the version of the white decorations to get you started with decorating.
Really simple to do, and as always, you can ask me questions if my instructions are confusing. Thanks for looking!
