Item details

This is a lovely noil silk.

Noil silk is produced from the shorter fibres which are left after combing and carding, so it has a matte appearance.

It makes a very versatile yarn which looks similar to cotton of a similar weight, but drapes better.

It softens on washing and will continue to soften over several washes. Fabric softener/conditioner can be used. It should be hand washed gently, not dry cleaned.

The colour is 'Pale Leaf' a delicate, light green.

100% noil silk
