Item details

You will receive THREE pattern weights with this order.

These heavy pattern weights will save you time when you are sewing your next creation. Just place these weights on the fabric and they will hold the fabric steady, no need to pin and unpin and no pin marks on silks and delicate fabrics! These weights will also prevent fabrics from sliding off your cutting table. These are a favorite tool of mine and I have decided to offer these weights in my shop because I love using them so much.

This silk shibori fabric was once part of a haori jacket. The silk has shibori (A type of tie dye) accents. The silk has a deep plum-purple color and pink color. Please note that the shibori has been flattened with age so that it has very little texture. The purple color is showing a little more blue on my screen than is actually seen. Please refer to the last photo for the best representation of the color. Crayola crayons were placed in the photo for color comparison.

Lightweight interfacing is used to line the fabric to make it even more durable.

Each weight is filled with copper-coated steel ball bearings, which were made in the USA.

These would make a useful and unique gift for any seamstress. They could also be used for table cloth weights, paper weights or for keeping napkins from blowing away on a windy day.

Dimensions:

Each edge of the pyramid is about 2 inches (5cm) long.

They stand about 2 inches (5cm) high and 2 inches (5cm) wide

They weigh about 3.8 oz each.

These work great! And they are small so don’t take up much room when not in use
