This pattern, a reprint of what was originally Simplicity 9769, is for your basic Civil War undergarments. Pattern includes instructions for chemise (shift), bloomers (drawers), and corset. Perfect for Halloween or your next reenactment!
Designed to worn with period ballgown, foundation garments, and accessories. See Simplicity Patterns 5724 (Civil War Ballgown), 9764 (Hoopskirt and Petticoat), and 5740 (Headpiece/Millinery). Simplicity Pattern 1818 is a pattern for two variations on Civil War Day Dresses/Gowns, which also require these undergarments.

Shipping & policies
All packages are shipped via USPS Priority mail and shipping costs for each item reflects that. Under certain circumstances, an item MAY be able to be shipped for less (i.e. media mail or 1st Class), depending on what the item is. Doing this will result in longer shipping times. Upgrading shipping methods is upon request, and may result in extra fees to cover the costs of faster service.
If you contact me asking to adjust shipping rates for an item, please be ready to purchase the item soon after.
Payment is due within 3 days of purchase. Nothing will be shipped until payment has been received and cleared. Requests for order cancellations must be made within 24 hours of purchase. The decision to cancel an order is at the sole discretion of the shop owner.
Returns & exchanges
Refunds are only offered in the following circumstances (subject to the sole discretion of the owner):
1. Damaged and/or lost goods: You may be required to submit photographic, written, or other evidence that package was damaged or lost.
2. Item received appears to be substantially different from the advertised listing. All listings will specify when a stock photo has been used to represent the item for sale.
3. Buyer's remorse is NOT a basis on which an order will be cancelled. This includes and is not limited to "accidently" pressing the purchase button, deciding that shipping times won't meet your deadline, or that you no longer want the item. If you have bought it, it is yours! There is no grace period in which you can cancel your order; that means even if it was "five minutes ago" or less, I will not cancel the order.
4. Any other circumstance will be considered on a case by case basis. Past actions do not guarantee future decisions.
Once cancellation of an order has been granted by the owner, the total amount paid will be refunded to the buyer.
Again, all refunds are subject to the sole discretion of the shop owner.
Most items, except when noted, are secondhand. Items are sold "as is."
Stock photos may be used in a listing, and will be noted as such. The condition of the item will be described. As I list many items in multiple quantities or times (especially sewing patterns), it is too impractical to take a picture of each item individually.
Like all reenactors, I am constantly learning and expanding my knowledge base. While I do my best to find products that resemble Colonial goods as closely as possible, I do not guarantee the absolute authenticity of the designs and/or packaging of goods. If in doubt, I recommend doing your own research to determine whether an item is suitable for your individual purposes. When possible, I will gladly provide you with citations of my research.
