Jacquard Ribbon Trim - Named after the man who invented the loom which weaves this trim, Joseph Marie Jacquard, (1732-1854 in France). Jacquard trims nowadays are woven using many different materials including rayon, polyester, metallic, cotton, blends and on a rare occasion - silk.
Unless otherwise noted these trims are all cold water machine washable/dryable and are colorfast. The trims I use on washcloths/towels have held up beautifully through many washings. Trims I've used on my dog collars have always been washable - including many of the metallic designs. You can wash nylon webbing but do not machine dry it.
I always dry clean my wool coats which have been embellished, but I machine wash polar fleece, raincoats and many other lightweight coats that recommend machine washing.

Shipping & policies
I ship the most economical way possible - several yards of trim will ship for under $1.00 and I always refund excess.
Most packages are mailed with tracking information. If the tracking shows the package was delivered that is what I go by.
International First Class Mail offers tracking info but charges can be very high. Depending upon the weight of your order you have several choices including International First Class Mail which can cost just a couple of dollars for a few yards. I'm happy to research it for you. I've been able to ship up to 10 yards to the UK for about $3.00 so please don't be put off the fees listed.
I ALWAYS refund excess shipping fees.
The shop accepts Etsy's payment methods and Paypal. WA state residents are subject to sales tax.
