Item details

This listing is a pink and black stone bead. It is a natural stone known as Haines amphibolite from near Haines, Alaska. The minerals in it are pink feldspar, black amphibole and a little green epidote in the center on one side. The cut is a thin hexagonal cushion. It is a very pretty and useful bead.

The size of this bead is ½ inch across and just a little more than ⅛ inch thick, and has a 3 mm hole. This hand cut unusual and rare bead will work in many ways in your necklace creations. I cut it from a small piece of the stone I found near Haines in 2012.
