Item details

Blue Ice is a silky smooth firestar (trilobal nylon) I hand dyed in a very subtle shade of soft blue. It sparkles and glistens similar to ice. It is perfect to blend with other fibers for spinning or felting.

My One-Offs section consists of yarns and fibers that I have created through experiment or accident that I don't plan on offering again. These items are not of inferior quality but are sometimes discounted to move quicker. They are limited quantities and usually are not able to be reproduced.

Each listing will specify whether your item is in stock or made to order. Made to order listings have a larger processing time listed than it usually takes. Generally fibers and roving take 1-2 business days before being ready to ship. Yarns will usually take up to 3 business days.

Please contact me before purchasing if you are in need of your item by a certain date in the near future. Purchasing a shipping upgrade does not mean your item will ship out sooner. It means it will ship out Priority instead of regular USPS when your item is ready to ship. If you contact me before purchase, I can give you a better idea of when to expect your item.

I prefer to use the convo system in Etsy. I receive convo notifications and can usually get back to you within minutes. If you reach out to me via social media, I am not on those platforms often. It may be several days before I am able to get back to you if you contact me via social media.

I gladly accept custom orders. I will also allow certain items to be reserved for a reasonable time period at my discretion. Please contact me if you are interested in either for full details of your request. Please be aware, any work will not begin on custom or reserved listings until they are paid for in full. This will also be the case if I need to purchase any additional supplies to fulfill your order. I will let you know before you purchase the amount of time I will need to complete your order to make sure it meets your approval.
