THIS listing is for two digital PDF cross stitch patterns of a modern take of the Waratah, an Australian wildflower. The larger pattern is roughly 7 inches by 9 inches, while the smaller version of the same pattern is roughly 4 by 5 inches. With both patterns, the stitch counts, floss colours and floss usage have been based on 14count cloth.
This pattern is one of a series of commissioned Australian floral needlepoint pieces I have been working on, and the first done in cross stitch.
There will be more patterns released as I finish the series.
While the commissioned piece is much larger, I decided to write them up in smaller sizes, as not everyone wants to do a huge 20inches wide piece.
When listing cross stitch or embroidery patterns I will always use photographs of the finished item. I won’t be lazy and use a snap from a digital program of coloured pixels for ‘stitches’.
That way you know that every pattern I list has been stitched by at least me and any other test stitchers I can rope into action.
Follow me on instagram at the_naughty_knot to see more designs and don’t forget to tag me as I love to see my work stitching away in the wild.
