A great looking Big chunk of Raw Blue Calcite measuring 6 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 2 1/4" and weighing 2 lb. 1.3 oz. The raw blue calcite is a very beautiful stone. Blue Calcite has colors ranging from pale to mid color blue, sometimes with white veins.
Calcite is one of the most common of all carbonate minerals and occurs mostly in sedimentary areas as a precipitate through the evaporation of solutions rich in calcium bicarbonate.
Metaphysically it is said that all Calcites are helpful in lessening of fear and reducing stress. Calcite is probably the premier cleanser of stored negative energies in the human system. Blue Calcite is a stone that is said to be especially calming and soothing.
The beauty and complexity of minerals and rocks has always intrigued and amazed me. From the gorgeous, gemmy citrine crystals to the delicate crystals of orange selenite, to the exquisite, sparkling quartz crystals, they all have an element of beauty and earthiness that I love. Just as I am mesmerized by the melodic sound of a waterfall in a rainforest and relish the exploding orange sun over the ocean at daybreak with a hope of the green flash, on the east coast ocean, I am enthralled and excited by the basic beauty that nature has created in the many forms that rocks and minerals are capable of displaying. And I get a new sense of joy everyday when I can touch and experience the beauty and personality of each of the stones. I choose the minerals and rocks to sell that I personally desire. I particularly love the raw stones, just as they come from the earth, some with imperfections and some just perfect in their conformation – both are part of nature. I feel very fortunate to be surrounded by minerals and rocks and being able to share them with others. From the luscious purple crystals of amethyst to the extraordinary formation and complexity of purple fluorite and to the grandeur of the angelically white selenite towers, I am amazed, thrilled and awestruck by them. The crystals remind me of sparking mountain streams and cascading waterfalls, forests with hundreds of trees, mossy covered rocks and fallen limbs laying on the forest floor and no one for miles around.
We do our best to accurately identify our minerals and rocks. Everything you see here is earth created. No such pieces are ever 100% perfect. Please look at photos up close. Most pictures are taken with light to show translucency, color and detail. We do our very best describing and photographing our stones. Our items can appear larger than they are because of close-up photography. Please look at the listed dimensions carefully to ensure accuracy in sizing and feel free to ask any questions before purchasing.

Shipping & policies
The majority of shipping costs will be $5.00 per package anywhere in the U.S. which is lower than the actual cost of shipping that the USPS charges. If the specimen plus box weighs over 2 lbs. the shipping will be slightly higher. Your package will be shipped either: First Class USPS or Priority Mail, depending upon its weight. First Class mail goes up to 13 oz. and anything over that is shipped Priority Mail. We spare no expense in carefully packaging specimens for shipping. But accidents happen during transit and our responsibility to the contents of each package ends at the point the package is transferred to the carrier. We will insure each package, and pay for that expense. But it is up to you to file the claim if something should happen to the contents of the package along the way.
We ship items in boxes to offer better protection against damage and because of this most of our shipping costs per item are at least $8.00 and sometimes more depending on the weight of the specimen. We want to give all our customers a low shipping rate so I hope you understand our inability to routinely combine shipping costs. As additional minerals are added onto the order the weight goes up appreciably and so does the cost of postage. If we're able to adjust the shipping charge for you with multiple items in the same box we will do so automatically, you don't have to ask. If there is an overpayment of shipping costs we will automatically refund you the difference.
SHIPPING OVERAGES ARE REFUNDED AUTOMATICALLY.
We will ship within 1-2 business days after receiving payment confirmation.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: International orders will ship via 1st Class International Mail for packages 4 lbs. and under and will ship Priority International mail for orders over 4 lbs. You will receive the customs form number from your package at the time of shipment. This is not a tracking number but a proof of shipment.
Custom fees, taxes and any other fees are the responsibility of the buyer and are NOT part of the shipping costs paid. Please check with your country's customs office to find what these additional charges will be before you buy. Delays or lost international orders cannot be tracked from the USA. It is the responsibility of the buyer to track and locate their packages directly with their own postal service and custom agents.
