Color - Poke Berry
My husband took this picture when we were traveling in Alabama. I was delighted to find out it is Poke Berry which can be used as a natural dye for wool! Poke Berry comes from American Pokeweed which only grows in the eastern US. The colors are amazing in the stems and berries both. In this version of Poke Berry I have dyed the yarn so that it will work up in a self patterning manner.

400 yards, Approx 3.5 oz. 20% Superfine Alpaca, 60% Superwash Merino Wool and 20% Nylon Fingering Weight Yarn.

The Baby Alpaca in this gorgeous yarn combination gives it luster and such soft fineness. Merino Wool is known to be among the finest of wools. It is soft and non itchy. The Nylon gives this yarn strength and durability that is especially great for socks!

Washable by hand or machine but hand washing is reccomended. Lay flat to dry.
This yarn has been hand dyed with professional quality acid dyes especially for you by Collette

I ship USPS 1st class mail for all orders under 13 ounces unless you request otherwise. After 13 ounces all orders are mailed priority mail.
If you live outside the USA the same rules apply.
If you want insurance let me know and I will bill you for the cost. I am not responsible for your package if it doesn't arrive so get insurance if you are worried about it. I have NEVER (to date June 2016) had a package not arrive safe and sound with or without insurance!

I am fairly relaxed about payments. If you order and haven't paid I will let you know. If you fail to communicate with me I will wait at least a week (more if I have dealt with you before:) to cancel the sale and move on.

I have a non smoking home but I do have a cat. I store my yarn away from the cat but he does live here so if you are deathly allergic to cats you should be aware of this.
