** One of a Kind ** ** Hand Made ** ** Sandy Debris **
Wood used to make this from was salvaged after Sandy from the Tuckerton Seaport whose buildings were flooded and as a result all floors were torn out. Wood that was removed from the buildings there was thrown into a huge pile and I managed to save some wood from going to the landfill. My only regret is that I couldn't go back to get more...
The interior dimensions of the frame fit an 8x10" (inset in included mat) or a full size 11x14" photograph. Included in the listing is everything you need to mount a photograph inside this frame. It includes glass, mat with an 8x10" window, hanging hardware (sawtooth hanger), and an acid free foam core backing board. All my frames are hand-made using only salvaged wood. Corner joints are fastened using a joiner, biscuits, and wood glue. This frame was lightly sanded and left with its natural finish. Overall dimensions are ~ 15.25" wide x 18.25" tall.
About materials: The wood used to build this frame is reclaimed tongue & groove pine flooring from the Tuckerton Seaport. I like to support workers, businesses, and industries in the United States, so all other materials used in this frame are proudly "Made in USA."
I will refund buyer the difference in paid and actual shipping charges. I have to charge high to account for the possibility of shipping this to California.
