Minions! Everyone loves them and I am a huge fan. I decided that I wanted to start sewing machine embroidered patches and of course I started with Minions. This is the New York Mets Baseball Player Minion I made and it came out really nice. I used white felt as the base and used a heat backing so that it could be ironed on or if you prefer it can be sewed on. The patch is approximately 4.98"h x 3.95"w. 21,167 stitches went into this patch with 14 color changes. I stay at the machine to make sure nothing gets out of control. Some patches take longer to make than others, depending on the detail. Really cool and absolutely different and would look great on backpacks, jeans, jackets, the possibilities are endless!
For ironing it on to fabric, use a iron at not a high temperature and don't move the iron around too much. Just place a towel or cloth on top of it and just hold it down for about 30 to 40 seconds. Lift the towel or cloth and see if it has adhered to the material and if not just put the iron on it again for a few more seconds.
I am in no way associated with Universal or Illumination or the New York Mets. This is fan art (which I am) and is meant for collectors.
