When Barbie turned 21 in 1979, Life magazine ran this article about her history so far. These pages are the originals torn from that issue of Life magazine. Color photos showing Barbie's progression, along with her friends and accessories during her first 21 years. There are 2 actual pages, one is front and back Barbie and the other two backs feature advertising for Lipton soup and Aetna insurance. There is wear and aging to the pages and minor tear along edges from storage. Still a very nice piece of history for a Barbie doll collector and anyone who remembers where Barbie when from ponytail to bubble cut. Measures 9 1/2 x 13 inches.
