This huge piece of midcentury textured cotton fabric measures 79" x 62". It features a mod orange, yellow, green, and white floral print on a royal blue ground, and brilliant yellow borders on the long (selvedge) sides. The fabric is fairly heavy--barkcloth-like, with a basket-weave texture. It appears to have been used, possibly as a tablecloth, as it was once hemmed two ends. It is in excellent, gently used condition. We note no flaws except faint fading along the hem fold line 1" from two edges (third photo). Made up into a tablecloth, curtain, or pillow covers, this will be a fabulous addition to your retro decor! We have given it a gentle laundering so it is fresh and ready to use. We can't wait to hear how you'll use this cheerful fabric!
ABOUT OUR VINTAGE TEXTILES: We take great care in handling vintage textiles. Unless otherwise noted, our items are gently laundered using mild, fragrance free, earth-safe detergents, and carefully pressed as needed. We use no harsh chemicals and no starch, as these contribute to the deterioration of fine textiles over time. We treat some spots and stains using traditional, all-natural methods, but prefer to leave--and carefully describe--small flaws rather than risk damage to the fibers by removing them completely.
