Our Milk Paint is environmentally safe and non-toxic. There is a slight milky odor when it is applied, but it is completely odorless when dry.
Paint comes in a powder form and must be mixed with water.
The deep rich colors of Milk Paint authentically reflect those colors found on existing antique furniture and buildings. Our paint is made in small batches, using earth pigments. Modern paints cannot compare with the colors and the texture of the finish for achieving the “old” or “country
look” of Colonial or Shaker furniture and interiors. And, like the paints used hundreds of years ago, the colors in our Milk Paint will not fade.
Many variations in color can be easily achieved. You can add white to lighten colors or black to darken them. Colors can easily be mixed to create your own custom colors. Milk Paint will produce an antique uneven matte surface when first applied. You can also create a semi-gloss look by simply burnishing the painted surface.
We package Milk Paint in a dry powder form allowing you to control the thickness of the paint for use as either a wash/stain, full cover coat, or for stenciling.
Using Milk Paint over previously painted or finished pieces without adding the Extra Bond, it may result in an authentic chippy look. To have more control over “chipping” add our Extra Bond to the 1st coat of paint.
Milk paint can be top coated with any product that you would normally use when painting, such as wax, polyurethane, tung oil, etc. To protect milk paint from water spots, it must be top coated.

Shipping & policies
Orders will go out as soon as they are able to be sent. If you need something in a rush just let me know after purchase and I'll get your order on my "Move em out" list. Most orders take at least 3-5 days to complete.
Furniture orders are as follows:
Items will be shipped the lease expensive way via USPS, ETSY USPS, FED EX or UPS. The shipping costs listed are for the continental U.S. only. All other U.S. locations, please email me your FULL address with zip code for a shipping estimate prior to purchase. (This would include Alaska and Hawaii)
Please be aware the furniture is old, vintage and therefore will have dings, nicks and is not brand new. This only adds to the vintage, shabby chic of the piece and shows the loving care of previous owners.
**Furniture sales are final and not returnable.**
Packaging might include used boxes and packaging that is clean and suitable for reusing.
If you are buying PAINT Products:
* All items must be purchased before I will ship them out to you.
* I mail through Stamps.com or Etsy. I do not accept refunds on painting products. If there is any problem with your order PLEASE contact me asap so I can file a lost or damaged report with the USPS office or Etsy. I then will issue a refund based on the findings and monies refunded to me. I haven't had this happen much at all. Each package is also tracked and I will mail that tracking number to you in the email through Etsy stating your package has been sent. Please make sure you follow this tracking so that if there are any items in the packages that need to be out of cold weather they will be expected by you and brought into the home as soon as possible.
If you are buying KNOBS:
Before your order can be even started you must purchase the listing. Most items are made after your order is paid for. If you decide you would like a different color or the design modified, I will usually do this for you at no charge. Please email me before you make your purchase or leave a note when purchasing so that I know what you would like changed in your order.
If you want custom work that I have to begin from scratch it turns into a custom order. I get very busy and have had (a few) customers want me to begin designing and ending up not returning my emails after I have spent a lot of time on their order. So please make sure you email for custom listings and discuss the cost of custom designs with me.
I require a deposit for custom designs before I begin designing your request. You will receive 2 listings: one for a deposit and 2 for your finished/approved order. Deposit is $5.00 per design. If I am purchasing hardware that I do not usually carry I will ask for 50% deposit of the total. This will be deducted from your total amount due at the end of sale. If you decide you do not want to continue with the order then the amount of my investment will be deducted from the amount refunded back to you.
The deposit for the design is non-refundable.

PLEASE BE AWARE!!! Each knob is handmade and is slightly different from one another. Each one is made by placing a waterproof, smear proof, and fade resistant print on the top of the knob. Since the knob isn't flat the paper overlaps and causes minor creases. I do my best to eliminate having any as much as possible, but it isn't always possible. I cannot offer refunds for these creases. These are not manufactured by any means. Completely handmade.
I prefer paypal or credit cards. This site is set up for those options.
If you live in California you will be charged 8.75% for sales tax.

Returns & exchanges
I accept returns on all non custom goods except the furniture and paint products. Items must be returned in the condition I sent them to you. New and not used. Return shipping is paid by the customer. The refund will be the sales price only, and tax if paid. The paid shipping is not refundable. The amount of the refund will be issued after I receive the items that you purchased back to me.
