This 15-page knitting pattern creates a pass-through scarf in 3 sizes. The soft neckwarmer has a frill at each end, with a choice of two patterns for the longer frill.
The pattern includes both illustrated written instructions and complete charts for creating the scarf in three sizes, with several possible variations, as well as photo tutorials on several techniques utilized in the pattern. The pattern also includes a Technique Feature on Turning Cables Without a Cable Needle, and some illustrated suggestions for alternate yarn options.
Lion Brand Heartland worsted weight yarn (5 oz/142g, 251 yds/230m, 100% acrylic), 1 ball of #158 Yellowstone (Scarflette uses approximately 2-2 1/2 oz.)

Cable Needle, optional
2 Safety-pin type stitch markers
***GAUGE: 14 sts and 18 rows = 4 inches on Size 10 needles in Stockinette Stitch
***SIZES: Small—To fit 13-inch neck
Medium—To fit 14-inch neck
Large—To fit 15-inch neck
Body of scarflette measures approximately 5 inches wide.
• long tail cast on
• bind off
• knit into front and back of stitch
• slip st kwise or pwise with yarn in front or in back
• yarn round needle
• Cable 4 Front/Cable 4 Back
• pick up strand between sts and work into it
