Item details

It's the size of a postcard. In fact, the backside IS a postcard. Which is ironically stamped: "NOT TO BE MAILED." Apparently this little item was just too *too* back in 1940.

The front cover is a riot of silver gilt and white ink caricatures. With the enticing title splashed across.

When you open it, you have a series of inked celluloid cells. Each time you lift one up, the pretty lady is minus one layer of clothing. The end result is an illustrated nude standing in a twisted position. With thigh-high stockings and slippers still on. She is turning to blow out a candle.

Very clever novelty item, beautifully rendered. In the Vargas-style of pin-up.

Measures 3.5" x 5.5." In very good condition. One small piece of tape on cover is only mark. Cells in mint condition. Very nice!
