retro style soft cup bralette SEWING PATTERN for petite women with smaller bust shapes
Retro style soft cup BRALETTE sewing pattern is designed especially for petite women with smaller bust shapes. The straps are adjustable as is the hook and eye closure in the back.
To make yourself a BRALETTE you'll need just 45cm of a lightweight woven fabric. The sewing pattern is available in Australian sizes 8-12 A & B. (For international customers there is a size conversion chart listed on my website www.themakersjournal.blogspot.com)
You'll also need to purchase under-bust elastic, strap elastic, lingerie (knicker) elastic, matching sliders and rings plus a hook and eye closure for the back. I recommend the on-line store called www.bramakerssupply.com who have everything you'll need all in the one place.
Size 8 - Bust 81cm, Waist 63cm, Hip 93cm
Size 10 - Bust 86cm, Waist 68cm, Hip 98cm
Size 12 - Bust 91cm, Waist 73cm, Hip 103cm
I made my photo samples from Liberty's cotton Tana Lawn, the pink print is called called Toria and for the front of the pattern Tatum. This sewing pattern has been developed for lightweight woven fabrics like cotton, soft cotton blends or silk. Select a fabric that will feel soft and silky against your skin. The bra is shown with a knicker caller LOWRIDER (pattern also available).
I print my SEWING PATTERNS onto 100% recycled paper and then seal the contents to make sure they arrive safely.
