This is a set of TWO round metal vintage tape measures.
#1 Walsco Mechanic's Pal This one labeled Mechanic's Pal. It's shiny silver color with a few rust spots. The actual tape is a bit rusty too. It extends to around 64". It is made in Czechoslovakia. This is a 2" wide circle tool. It pulls and retracts manually. It pulls out & pushes in a little stiff, so it won't move on it's own.
#2 Baldwin Handi-Rule It is a darker "gunmetal" color gray. I pulled it out to 67", but it says 72". This one is extra cool. It clicks as it gets pulled out. This has a stopper, so it will not retract until you push the button. It has a neat design with lines on both sides. This one is in good condition.
These tape measures are still handy. They are so small they can fit in your pocket better than the modern ones. I think these would be useful to keep in a purse or car. They would also look cool in an industrial décor or just resting next to an old carpenter photo or blueprints!
