My husband was throwing away a suitcase full of laminate samples until I got my hands on them! There were hundreds of different colors and textures and I was picturing them as gift tag or bookmarks. I decoupaged some of my drawings of little busts of Victorian Ladies onto them. They were so fun to work on! I recently bought a whole bag of vintage binding tapes in lovely colors and lace. They are perfect for the ribbons!

I think these are so cute, and such a great upcycling idea! Surprise the members in your book club with a different bookmark for everyone! Or tie them to your gifts and packages and get a smile from the recipients!

I can't wait to make more of these! I'm a freak for all things ephemera! For now, I'm offering a set of 6 tags/bookmarks each with a different fancy lady! They measure around 3 1/2" X 5". The tags are on laminate samples and have a nice hand to them.
The color, style, and laminate maker are on the backside of each.
