In 1929, my Auntie Frances made these paper dolls to entertain her much younger sister, my mother, on their frequent road trips. Years later, I too, carefully played with them by the hour. Each doll and dress were drawn with India Ink and then watercolored. Most of the hats and handbags had a small slit in them to fit on the head or over the hand, and many of the skirts had a cut in the lower hem so that the dress would actually surround the dolls legs. I have made no adjustments or enhancements...they are just as they were in 1929.
I am offering them now so that others can enjoy these special dolls and you are welcome to use them in your personal collages, cards, journals, scrapbooking, altered art, etc.
For personal use, you may print as often as you like. For small commercial use, you may print up to 300 times. Absolutely no digital or cd sales. Please respect these terms.
