One 10ml container of Patina Queen's ODOR-FREE Micro-crystalline & Beeswax polish. It's taken me over a year of trial and error, but I've finally developed a clear wax polish to seal and protect my hand antiqued/oxidized metalwork that has no harsh chemical smell. Great for all metals, in particular brass, copper and sterling silver. Along with protecting and sealing, the wax polish adds an undeniable richness. The patina finish you work so hard to achieve truly POPS!!
Now, if you're familiar with micro-crystalline wax polishes, the fact that this is ODOR-FREE should make you jump for joy!! :D If you're not familiar, here's why this is so great. Traditional paste and wax polishes sold today include one of many harsh, cheap solvents (turpentine for example) to emulsify and blend all the ingredients together. This later evaporates, leaving you with a protective wax coating. Because I use metal polishes on a daily basis to seal my work, I grew tired of the headaches I was getting from toxic fumes permeating the air of my studio, lungs and even skin. I decided to create a healthier alternative. Now, my intent is not to disrespect any major brands of micro-crystalline polishes on the market today; they have been invaluable to me over the years. It's just time for me to create a healthier design environment for myself and I invite you do the same :)
Also, I'm frequently asked, "Can I use this wax on colored patinas? The answer is YES, but a few steps need to be taken first, and this is true for any wax polish. By the way, the details below apply only to a real patina. If you are using one of the million "faux" patinas on the market definitely test an area first, but I would think it's fine; they are just glorified paints. So, if you are sealing a real chemical patina (verdigris for example) it can be a bit flaky or powdery because it's just sitting on the surface of the metal. It's very important that it's first sealed with three to five light coats of a spray sealant such as Sculpt Nouveau's Clear Guard. Once that dries you should be able to add the wax. The only reason you would add wax after spray sealing would be for an extra layer of protection for your piece. The wax (once polished) adds an additional sheen that you wouldn't normally get with a satin or matte spray. If you don't want or need the added layer of protection or shine then you really don't need to add the wax after spraying a colored patina with a high quality spray sealant.
One last note, I mention wearing gloves in the instructions. This is only for easy clean up...unless you have a cut or wound, then please protect it. I generally don't use gloves because I find the heat from my fingertips helps warm the wax up a bit and it goes on quicker for me. The odorless, highly refined solvent I use to emulsify the wax won't leach into healthy shin. Please, if you are using a wax polish or paste that has a strong paint thinner-like smell, DO NOT use your bare hands. I see videos all the time of people doing this and it makes me cringe. Very bad.

United States: All domestic orders ship for $3.50 and include tracking.

HOW WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?
ALL orders are shipped to your Etsy address unless otherwise stated on the "note to seller" section of your invoice. You may also convo me for an address change.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PACKAGE IS LOST IN THE MAIL?
Patina Queen is not responsible for lost or damaged packages.
US orders: If you are concerned in any way, I HIGHLY recommend you convo me with a request for insurance. All US orders do receive a tracking number.
International orders: As of 2015 orders to Canada can be tracked. All other International orders do not receive tracking through USPS.
CAN I UPGRADE TO EXPEDIATED SHIPPING?
US customers may upgrade to priority for an additional $3.30. International orders may upgrade as well, please convo me for pricing. Please contact me on the day of your order if you would like your package upgraded. I will send you a money request through PayPal for the additional postage. You must pay for this before it will be shipped.
CAN I ADD INSURANCE?
All US customers are recommended to purchase insurance for large orders. Please convo me and I will calculate the cost for you and send you a PayPal money request. .
International customers may also insure their orders, although you must upgrade your shipping to priority (excluding "flat rate options") in order to gain insurance. Please convo me for further details after you place your order.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?
Most orders are "Made to Order" and average 5 business days (M-F) for IN HOUSE processing prior to shipment. All orders ship from San Diego, CA. Once processed and shipped, East coast orders generally take 3-5 days to arrive, West coast average around 2-3 days, and International up to 10 or more days depending on customs.
I WANT TO KNOW IF MY ORDER HAS SHIPPED, WHAT DO I DO?
Your "Purchases" section will show a copy of your invoice with additional shipping/tracking info.
$3.50 FLAT S&H rate for all US orders.

eCHECKS: Order will be shipped as soon as eCheck clears.
NON-PAYMENT: If you order an item I appreciate payment within 24 hours. I will send at least one friendly reminder. If no payment is received within three days, I will report the non-payment to Etsy in order to be refunded the fees for the transaction and re-list. I will not start processing your order until payment is received. If you have waited three days to pay I highly recommend that you convo me to let me know. This is recommended because I print out orders as they come in, regardless of payment. Orders that are still pending are set aside until payment is made. It is your responsibility to pay on time. Returns & exchanges
I want you to be happy with ALL of your purchases from Patina Queen. If by chance you are not, please convo me. PLEASE DO NOT leave negative feedback just because what you ordered does not work for you or your project. If there was a misunderstanding of listed measurments, etc, just let me know, we'll fix it. It's frustrating to see someone keep something that doesn't work for them and leave unsatisfied with something I worked very hard on. I will be HAPPY to refund or exchange the item within the allowable time frames listed below...
EXCHANGES: All items (except custom orders) are exchangable within 14 days of purchase date. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges to return the item for exchange. The item must also be returned unused, in its original packaging. Once received and evaluated the exchange will be granted. *Used wire cannot be returned for an exchange.
REFUNDS: Refunds will be honored within two weeks of purchase date. Original S&H charges will not be refunded. The shipping charge for the returning item is the responsiblilty of the buyer. I typically welcome this and have done custom work for many people in the past, although because of the demand of PQ supplies I am unable to do custom work at this time.
