Azalea japonica var "Baraggia". It is a old Italian variety, created in the area of the Lombard lakes, of which they ignore the varieties of hybridization. Very resistant outdoor Azalea, covered with small flowers, 1 "-2", ivory shaded in pink and dotted with red in the chalice. The vegetation is in appearance fragile and sparse but with time and regular pruning form sturdy logs. Leaves not thick, light green, small. Beautiful and delicate variety for those who appreciate the pastel colors.
The plants are part of a personal collection, for hobby and great passion in time selected, multiplied and cultivated by me under shady network outdoors, without forcing. The name and characteristics refer to my personal research and observation of my plants. The photo of the flower is of one of my mother plants. The photo of the vase reproduces the seedling in cultivation in the middle of the season.
The seedlings are shipped with a bread of land corresponding to the vase of 12 cm (three cuttings per jar), a compact plate ready to be transplanted into the ground or vase. The cuttings are high from 6 to 10 cm, depending on the variety.
