This listing is for a dip pen made from a real Coyote Radius Leg Bone.
The leg bones have been professionally cleaned and whitened, then drilled and fit with a stainless steel nib holder. The bones are then wrapped with a leather strip to create a fashionable grip. You have a choice of color grips - See last photo for examples, choose from drop the drop down menu at checkout. You may also choose to have no grip added at all.
The nib holder is a standard size, and allows you to change out the pen nibs for various types of calligraphy or scratchboard work (see 4th photo for various nib examples). I will include one basic pointed writing nib with your pen.
The pens (sans nib) measure about 6-7 inches in length(15-18cm). The size variance is due to these being made with real bones. The bones come from Montana coyotes that were culled due to overpopulation issues.
For the price of $19.99, you will receive one pen and one nib.
These are perfect pens for use at themed reenactment events such as Renaissance Faires, SCA, Victorian Steampunk events, etc... They can be an excellent addition to the writing desk in your curiosity cabinet, perhaps as the guestbook pen at your goth or macabre theme wedding, a prop for a haunted house or halloween event, or just something as simple as taking notes in biology class to be that cool different person.
Please note that due to these pens being handmade using real bones, there will always be some small variation in size, shape, etc... the pens shown in the photos are not the same exact pen(s) you will receive, though they will look very similar. These pens are made-to-order. Please allow about one week for me to make your pen for you once payment has been received.
Please feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions not answered here, I am happy to answer your questions as quickly as possible.

I ship all items in accordance to the rules laid out by your payment processor (EG: etsy's direct checkout, Paypal, etc..) to be covered under their individual seller protection policies. Most items ship via USPS First Class Mail in padded mailers. Certain fragile items are shipped in sturdy boxes with bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Sometimes items are shipped via USPS Priority. All packages - both domestic and international, have a tracking number which will be provided to you in an automated notification when your item ships. You may also find this tracking number by looking up the transaction in your purchase history.
I try to keep my shipping rates as affordable as possible to the buyer - I recycle boxes and packing supplies when applicable, keep product packaging minimal, and do not typically include invoices or printed receipts unless requested or when required by law.
I'm happy to ship anywhere in the World, though I am not responsible for VAT or other import taxes and fees you may incur via your local customs office.
UK Buyers specifically:
Anything worth more than £15 which is imported to the UK from a non-EU country is subject to VAT at 20% of the item value, plus an additional £8 handling fee. You will likely be required to pay this upon receipt of your package. This hefty tax is imposed by your government. I have absolutely nothing to do with it, nor am I responsible for paying it. I am also not able to mark your item as “gift” or mark it at a lower value, as that would be considered fraud. Please take this into consideration when making your purchase.
I am happy to accept Paypal, Etsy gift cards, and all major credit cards via direct checkout. On custom orders and made-to-order items, I do not begin physical work on the project until after payment has been received in full.
