Item details

Just think how many vintage ties you would need to buy to get the variety of colors and designs that's are included in this listing. That's a lot of ties!

These would be great for adding texture, color or a bit of pop to your project. They would be great for machine

There are three listings available. The photos are representative of the stabilized tie squares you will be receiving.

There are fifty (50) 4" cut and stabilized tie squares ready for your quilting or craft project. The fabrics are polyester and came from men's ties of the 70's and 80's that were recycled.

The nice part is the fabrics are stabilized making sewing them easier since the fabric won't stretch next to a cotton. The last photo is the backing fabric. The stabilizer was a piece of cotton and the fabrics were machine sewn in various straight line patterns. Lots of time was taken acquiring the ties As well as stabilizing and cutting the squares (as this was before the rotary cutter came on the scene).
