DIY'ers, crafters, and creatives – take this denim and make small boutonnieres, bowties, patchwork, etc! Please, do not limit yourself to my few examples! This is remnant denim scraps that come from unused portions of our quality selvedge denim aprons.
– USA sourced *selvedge denim from Cone Mills, of North Carolina
– Raw, unwashed denim
– 100% cotton
Mixed lot selvedge denim, sold by the pound. Some, not all, pieces will have selvedge edge, and those can differ from a solid white selvedge, to red ticker selvedge. Selvedge denim does have certain character traits, and is a little more inconsistent than modern day looms - those old shuttle looms are definitely special, and selvedge denim has it's own niche following.
*Selvedge – also spelled as 'selvage', refers to a self-finished edge of fabric. The selvages keep the fabric from unraveling or fraying. The selvages are a result of how the fabric is loomed and woven. The word is NOT to be confused with "salvage", which gives the connotation of taking something old and making it new.
