The flowers are lavender to icy blue, with that wonderful sweet lilac fragrance that can be smelled in the home on a spring day with the windows open. The blooms cover your shrub in late spring, around May.

Its smaller size makes it perfect as a foundation plant or to border a walkway or deck.

These make excellent cut flowers, too, and Miss Kim provides vase full of blooms to bring indoors. Pruning it right after it flowers and before seeds to assures you an abundance of flowers the following year. Grow zones 3-7
