Vintage 3 1/2 Inch Vise with 3 Hole mounting Swivel Base, Anvil with horn. In good use condition normal wear and tear you tell is being doing its job. Jaws open 3" wide and its approx. 12 lbs, close its 10 1/2" long, 6" tall, anvil work area 2" by 2", 4" round base. Just by its weight on the this size vise you can tell it is a very solid built vise. I have sold Vintage Vises like Littlestown, Wilton, Craftsman around the same size and weight less than this one. Would make a nice a addition to a work shop or to restore. Other than the V16, V17, V4 and the No. 4 on the side behind the locking nut, that is all I can see as far as maker or brand goes.

All my tools are left as found and not restore so the buyer can do as he / she wants. They are clean and surface rust removed so the patina is still visible on tool.
Bringingpast2present is all about bringing all those old tool, rare and forgotten items back to the present. We all know the stuff from back then was made better than those of today. I go and find all these items and to bring them to you so can have a little taste of how it was back then.
Most of my items come from local Auctions, Estate Sales, Flea Markets, Yard Sales, Church Sales, and Goodwill Stores. They are in used, per-owned vintage condition and sometimes show evidence of wear and age such as light scratches, scuffs, surface rust and dents/dings consistent with its age and use. Unless otherwise stated in my description, the history of my items is unknown. My items are lightly cleaned /dusted but may need a good cleaning or polishing. Some items I do not heavily clean for fear of damaging the surface, or removing the patina. I try my best to evaluate, describe, and photograph any flaws or defects that I see on the items. But sometimes it may slip through the cracks, this is purely an oversight and not intentional, and I will always make the deal right. Items are packaged with great care to assure that they arrive undamaged. Please review pictures carefully and ask any questions before bidding or buying. I will be more than happy to answer any questions. Pictures are of the actual item that you will receive, and what you see in picture is what you get.
