Dimensions 27 x 23mm with thickness of 5.5mm tapering to 4mm at the bezel edge. Polished on all surfaces. Blue Lace agate is an old standard gemstone with some terrific bright blue color that actually appears radiant with a glowing look. This is a super solid stone with outstanding pattern.
Prompt shipping assured (1-3) days after payment confirmation. I strive to ship the day following payment but that is not always possible so that is why the range of shipping time. Standard shipping is USPS First Class Mail with tracking.
POLICY UPDATE DECEMBER 15, 2015: Buyer assumes risk for lost and damaged shipments. This shop has enjoyed a long track record of success in shipping, but there is always the possibility of a loss while in transit. If you have concerns about potential loss, then it is advisable to contact me prior to checkout so that we can arrange for shipping insurance. Insurance claims will involve significant time and red tape. A burden of proof of worth will be required and may prove especially difficult to negotiate with the insurer. If you elect insurance and incur a claim this shop would bear the burden of filing of the claim and all time and difficulty expended in such effort. I will do this to a reasonable expectation but in no way offer refunds directly nor will I agree to being pushed to action according to a time schedule specified by the buyer.
Multiple items purchased ship in the same parcel, for one shipping price.
Etsy Direct Checkout and PayPal are accepted methods of payment.
Returns & exchanges
No hassle complete refunds for items returned in original condition as when shipped. Please contact me before shipping item back.
The buyer must notify intent to return items within 7 business days from the day the items are delivered. The actual return shipping may take place well beyond that 7 day limit.
Full refunds will be made for your returned item once the item is back in my possession, in the condition as shipped. Breakage or defect in the item due to an unforeseen poor quality issue is obviously my responsibility and is an exception to the original condition requirement.
PHOTOGRAPHS. I use state of art photo equipment and indoor quartz halogen photo lamps to take all images of items. Polished gemstones can and usually do look different in varying light intensities and sources. My photos are accurate as to what the stone looks like in the light I use. Dimly lit rooms and other variable light sources common to our dwelling places, will most likely produce a significantly different hue to the stone, because of that different light source/intensity. Keeping this in mind can be of value in your evaluation of the purchased stone, as viewed in your surroundings. I have a no hassle return policy so that customers have options if a stone color or brightness is disappointing. Customer satisfaction is of primary concern.
STABILIZATION OF STONES. Some products offered in this store have had cracks, fractures and pits sealed with either cyanoacrylate, Opticon or Bond Optic epoxy. I am an advocate of using sealants and stabilizers to preserve the stone and to enhance the natural beauty of the stone. This process is objectionable to some, so if you are one of those you will want to move on to another shop besides mine. The use of these products is controversial, but I am firmly in the camp of belief that it does not diminish the quality of the stone. I am persuaded that expert application of these sealant materials preserves, even enhances the value of the stone.
