Item details

This pattern started out as a computer generated pattern (image obtained through legal means ;) It has been heavily cleaned up, there are no blurry lines, and no unnecessary random stitches. The eyes and face contour are largely composed of solid blocks of color. The inside of the eyes, mouth and decorative detail have confetti stitching, as it is needed for the overall affect. This pattern uses a total of 16 colors.

The pattern measures 198 stitches x 295 stitches.

You will receive three files, that are ready for immediate download.

The first file is in color. It includes the pattern in one sheet, best for viewing on a tablet, phone, or laptop, as you just need to zoom in on the section you are working on. The pattern is also broken down into enlarged sections for a total of 9 pages.

The second file is the same as the first, only it is in black and white. This is best for black and white printers, as well as seeing where all the back stitches and french knots are, as they are still in color.

The last file is filled with general cross stitch tips including what type and size count of cloth, and what kind of floss to use and how many strands :) A general knowledge of cross stitching is needed ;)

How Big Will Your Project Be, and What Type of Cloth???

The most common type of cloth to stitch on is Aida Cloth. Beginners should use a lower count cloth, as it is easier to see your stitches.

A lower count cloth means that your stitches will be larger than a higher count cloth.. It will also determine how big your finished project will be.

Calculate how large your project will be by dividing the height and width of your project in stitches, by the count of fabric you wish to use. Remember to add a couple or more inches around your fabric where you won't be stitching..

In general the 'count' of fabric you use is how many stitches you will get per inch. For example 14 count Aida Cloth, means you will get 14 stitches per inch, 11 count means you will get 11 stitches per inch :)
