Introducing my new Yorkshire Rose Smoothie Lace :)
This is a beautiful singles lace weight yarn made from high quality wool from the Falkland Isles. Like my other Yorkshire Rose yarns it has been spun less than 5 miles from my home in West Yorkshire by a company with over 100 years of spinning expertise. It is soft to the touch and knits up with a slight halo and subtle sheen. It would make gorgeous shawls, scarves, wraps sweaters and cardigans.
(if you would like a larger quantity for sweater knitting please make a custom request)
Approx.800m per 100g
Cool gentle handwash.
Colourway: Coralie- light coral peach pink almost solid with some brighter pink accents.
Items will usually be posted out first class within 3 working days after payment clears. International orders are shipped by air mail. Patterns are posted in stiff board 'do not bend' envelopes and stitch markers will be sent in organza gift bags in padded envelopes. If you are ordering items over the value of £40 I would recommend recorded delivery for which an extra charge will be made - please let me know at the time of ordering if you would like this and I will let you know how much extra this will cost..
Most orders are shipped in fully biodegradeable mailing bags sourced within the UK. The tissue paper I use for wrapping is acid free.
Payment is accepted through PayPal or by direct debit/credit card or Etsy gift card. If an item is purchased but not paid for within 72 hours I reserve the right to relist the item for sale.
Returns & exchanges
If for any reason you are not happy with any purchase please notify me as soon as possible so I can try to resolve the issues. I will happily exchange or refund so long as the item is returned in the condition in which it was sent out. Items that are lost in the post - please let me know if your item does not arrive within a reasonable timescale. (Royal Mail will not accept that a parcel is missing until 15 days from posting). Please be aware that adverse weather conditions, airport closures etc can have an impact upon delivery times.
The yarns I produce are painted in small batches with fibre reactive or acid dyes and there may therefore be some variation between skeins. Please order enough to complete your project. I try to use photgraphs that show the true colour of the yarn but please be aware that all computer monitors vary and therefore you may not see exactly what I see here! Although I rinse all yarns until the water is clear it is advisable to wash separately for the first few washes. All weights and meterages are approximate and as stated by my suppliers. Custom orders are welcome - please open a conversation. I usually request a deposit with the balance payable when the finished item is listed.
